Basics

What is Jianghu Escrow?

A Telegram escrow bot for USDT deals. The buyer's money is held first and the seller is paid after delivery and confirmation.

Do I need to register?

No. Your Telegram account is your account.

Who can start an escrow?

Only the buyer.

Does the seller need the bot too?

Yes. The seller must have opened the bot at least once and sent /start, otherwise it cannot notify them.

What can I use it for?

Any legal item or service you both agree on, such as second-hand electronics or freelance work. Illegal deals are refused.

Do you inspect the goods?

No. Escrow protects the money, not the quality of the goods.

Deposits and coins

Which coin and network?

USDT on the TRON network (TRC20) only.

I sent on another network. Can it be recovered?

Transfers on ERC20, BEP20 or other networks do not arrive and usually cannot be recovered.

Why do deposits need an exact amount with decimals?

The decimals identify your payment so the system can credit you automatically.

How long does a deposit take?

Usually a few minutes after the transfer is confirmed on-chain. Large deposits may need manual confirmation.

During a deal

What if the seller declines or does not respond?

The deal amount returns to the buyer.

Who chooses the escrow period?

The buyer, when starting the deal, within the allowed maximum. It starts when the seller accepts.

What if the goods are late?

The buyer can extend once.

What happens at the deadline?

If the seller marked the deal complete, the money is released to the seller. If not, the deal amount goes back to the buyer.

Can the deal be canceled?

Before acceptance the buyer can withdraw and the seller can decline. After acceptance the seller can refund; anything else goes through a dispute.

Can I take back my confirmation?

No. After the buyer confirms, the money is released and disputes close.

Fees

Who pays the fee?

The buyer. The seller receives the full amount.

Is the fee refunded?

No, whatever the outcome.

Is there a withdrawal fee?

Yes, a fixed network fee per withdrawal. See the fees page.

Disputes

How do I open a dispute?

Before the deadline, in the bot, on that deal, with a reason.

What happens to the money?

It is frozen and automatic release and refund stop.

Who decides?

Our team, based on the terms and the evidence both sides submit. The ruling can release to the seller, refund the buyer, or split.

Can I dispute after the deadline?

No.

Long-term deposits

Is a deposit released automatically?

No. It stays locked until the depositor pays it out, the recipient returns it, or staff rule on a dispute.

Can the daily fee eat into the deposit?

Never. It comes from a prepaid reserve, then from the payer's balance.

What if fees go unpaid?

The fee payer cannot withdraw or start or accept new deals, and the deposit cannot be handled, until either party clears the debt or our team waives it.

Withdrawals

Are withdrawals automatic?

No. They are reviewed and sent manually.

What if a withdrawal is rejected?

The amount returns to your balance.
