About Dama Jianghu: topics, rules and bots
Dama Jianghu is a Chinese-language Telegram community in Malaysia. Its one-line position is a big group for Malaysia that refuses scams and offers a place to talk. This page explains how the group is organised. The group itself runs in Chinese.
Our idea
A community is its members.Without members, there is no community
Moderators and bots are there to look after the room, not to run it. In practice that means three things:
- Members do the talking. The general chat is the only place where everyone can post freely.
- Members look out for each other. Scam reports are submitted by members, supply-and-demand posts are written by members, and moderators review and maintain.
- The rules are public. The group rules are written in Chinese and match what the bot actually enforces.
How the group is organised
The group uses Telegram topics:
- General chat, where members post freely.
- Announcements.
- Escrow rules.
- Supply and demand, where posts are published through the group bot.
- Deal notices, posted by the escrow bot with usernames masked.
- Scam reports, which are posted only after a moderator approves them.
Only the general chat accepts free posting. The rest is run by moderators and bots.
Two bots, two jobs
- The group bot (bdqgb_bot): removes ads and rule-breaking messages, runs the join check, and in private chat handles supply-and-demand posting, scam lookups and report submissions. Open the group bot.

- We do not publish member numbers or use headcount as a selling point.
- We do not check goods that members trade with each other. Private deals are at your own risk.
- We do not promise to recover money lost to scams. Reports and escrow raise the bar, but they cannot make any deal risk-free.

We do not endorse any particular practice, and illegal activity is not welcome. Whether a deal is legal is the responsibility of the people making it.
