Jianghu Escrow: the official USDT escrow bot of Dama Jianghu

Jianghu Escrow is the official escrow service of the Dama Jianghu group, a Chinese-language Telegram community in Malaysia. It is a Telegram bot: no app to download, no identity forms. The buyer’s USDT is held first, and the seller is paid only after delivery and the buyer’s confirmation.

Its role in the group

Trades in the group often start with the same standoff: "you send first", "no, you ship first". Jianghu Escrow is built for that standoff. The group’s rules recommend using escrow for larger deals. The group has a topic with the escrow rules, and when a standard deal completes the bot may post a short notice to a deal-notice topic with usernames masked. That notice is only an announcement, not a recommendation of any deal and not a performance figure. See About Dama Jianghu.

What it is and what it is not

It is not a shop and sells nothing. It does one job: hold a USDT amount between two people who do not know each other until the agreed conditions are met. Your Telegram account is your account, and everything happens in the chat with @jianghudanbao_bot.

How it works

Four steps. Every step happens in a Telegram chat with the bot.

Top up USDT

The buyer opens the bot and tops up their balance with USDT (TRC20). It usually arrives within a few minutes.

Buyer starts the escrow

Enter the seller’s Telegram username, the item, the agreed terms and the price. The amount is taken from your balance and held by the platform immediately.

Seller accepts and delivers

The seller gets a message from the bot showing the money is already secured, taps Accept, delivers, then marks the deal complete. Declining returns the deal amount to the buyer.

Buyer confirms, seller is paid

When the item arrives as agreed, the buyer confirms and the seller is paid instantly to their balance. Something wrong? Open a dispute and the funds freeze.

What escrow protects — and what it does not

The buyer

Your USDT does not reach the seller until you confirm, or until the auto-release deadline passes without a dispute.

The seller

When the request reaches you, the buyer’s money is already locked. No more "send first, I'll pay later".

Honest limits

We protect the money, not the goods. We do not inspect items. In a dispute we decide based on the terms you both agreed and the evidence you send.

Fees

One fee per deal, paid by the buyer when the deal is created. No fee to top up. The fee is not refunded.

Escrow fee2% of the deal amount, minimum 1 USDT
Who pays itThe buyer — added on top of the deal amount. The seller receives the full amount
Canceled or refunded dealsThe buyer gets the deal amount back; the fee is not refunded
Deposit (TRC20)Free on our side; your wallet or exchange charges its own network fee
Withdrawal3 USDT network fee per withdrawal, minimum 10 USDT

Example: a 100 USDT deal — the buyer pays 102 (100 + 2 fee), the seller receives 100.

You choose the escrow period

  • Seller acceptsIf the seller does not accept within 24 hours, the deal is canceled and the deal amount goes back to the buyer.
  • Pick the periodWhen creating the deal the buyer chooses how long the money stays in escrow — 7 days by default, up to 25 days. Shipping takes a couple of weeks? Pick a longer period. The clock starts when the seller accepts.
  • At the deadlineIf the seller has marked the deal done, the money is released to the seller. If not, the deal amount goes back to the buyer. The buyer can confirm early at any time.
  • Extend & remindersThe item is late? The buyer can extend once by 3 days (within the maximum). We remind the buyer 24 hours before the deadline. Disputes must be opened before the deadline — once the buyer releases the money, it is final.

Long-term deposits for business deals

For partnerships, rentals or supply agreements where one side puts up a deposit. It stays locked until it is settled — no automatic release.

  • How it worksThe depositor enters the other party’s username, the deposit amount and what it guarantees. The deposit is locked when the other party accepts.
  • Daily fee1% of the deposit per day. You choose who pays it — the depositor or the recipient.
  • Never taken from the depositThe fee payer prepays 7 days of fees as a separate reserve. Fees come from the reserve, then the payer’s wallet — never from the deposit, so the deposit keeps its full value as a guarantee.
  • How it endsThe depositor pays it to the other side, the recipient returns it, or our staff decide in a dispute. Unused reserve goes back to the fee payer.

Deals that usually need a middle step

Deals agreed in Telegram, Facebook or WhatsApp groups, outside the protection of a marketplace, always hit the same wall: who pays first? Escrow turns that into "the money waits in the middle until the terms are met".

  • Second-hand electronics and collectibles
  • Freelance work: design, video, translation, development
  • Long-term deposits for rentals and partnerships

Know the limits first

Escrow protects the money, not the goods. We do not inspect items, do not sell anything, and do not negotiate for you. In a dispute we rule on the terms you both wrote down and the evidence you submit. We do not accept illegal deals and may refuse or freeze anything that looks like one. Crypto transfers cannot be reversed, so check addresses and networks carefully.

Frequently asked questions

How is Jianghu Escrow related to the Dama Jianghu group?

It is the group’s official escrow bot. The group’s escrow rules and deal notices come from it.

Is it an app?

No, it is a Telegram bot. Enter only through the button on this site or by the exact username jianghudanbao_bot, and beware of fake bots.

What is a long-term deposit?

For business arrangements where one side locks a deposit as a guarantee — a partnership, a rental, a supply contract. It has no automatic release: it stays locked until the depositor pays it out, the recipient returns it, or staff rule on a dispute. An end date can be set for reminders only.

Who pays the long-term deposit fee, and can it eat into the deposit?

The two sides choose: the depositor or the recipient. The payer prepays a fee reserve that is kept separately. Fees are charged daily from the reserve, then from the payer’s wallet. They are never taken from the deposit. If both are empty the fee becomes a debt, and until either party pays it the payer cannot withdraw or start new deals, and the deposit cannot be paid out, returned or settled.

What can I trade with escrow?

Any legal item or service the two of you agree on — second-hand electronics, collectibles, freelance work and so on. We do not accept deals for anything illegal, and we can refuse or freeze a deal that looks like one.

Which currency and network do you use?

USDT only, on the TRON network (TRC20). Balances, deal amounts and payouts are all in USDT. Sending USDT on another network (ERC20, BEP20…) to our address will not arrive.

Why do I have to send an exact amount like 100.0137?

The extra decimals identify your payment automatically on the blockchain, so nobody else can claim your transfer. Send the exact figure shown. If you send a different amount, contact support and it will be matched manually.

How long does a deposit take?

Usually within a few minutes after your transfer is confirmed on TRON. The bot messages you when it arrives, and the USDT is in your balance, ready to start an escrow.

How do withdrawals work?

You enter a TRC20 address and an amount; the amount is held immediately. Withdrawals are reviewed and sent manually — usually within a few hours — and the bot sends you the transaction ID.

What happens in a dispute?

Either side can open a dispute before the deadline while the funds are in escrow. Auto-release stops. Both of you can send photos, chat screenshots and videos to the bot, and our team rules: release to the seller, refund the buyer, or split.

Do you check the item?

No. Escrow guarantees that the money moves only when the deal is completed or a ruling is made. Write clear terms when you create the deal — condition, delivery method, deadline — because that is what a dispute is judged against.

Can the deal be canceled?

Before the seller accepts, the buyer can withdraw the deal and the seller can decline — either way the buyer gets the deal amount back. After acceptance, the seller can refund the buyer; if the seller has not marked the deal done by the deadline, the deal amount goes back to the buyer automatically. Otherwise a dispute is the way out.

How long does the escrow last?

The buyer picks the period when creating the deal, so physical goods with long shipping times are covered. It starts when the seller accepts, and the buyer can extend once if the item is late. At the deadline the money is released if the seller has completed, or returned to the buyer if not. Disputes must be opened before the deadline, and are no longer possible after the buyer releases the money.

Who pays the fee?

The buyer. The fee is added on top of the deal amount when you start the escrow, so your balance must cover the amount plus the fee — the bot shows the exact total and how much more to top up before you confirm. The seller always receives the full deal amount. The fee is charged when the deal is created and is not refunded, whether the deal completes, is declined, canceled or refunded — it covers our escrow and dispute handling.

Does the seller need to use the bot too?

Yes. The seller must have opened the bot at least once (send it /start) so it can message them. A seller without a username can share their personal payment link from the bot instead.

Do I need to register?

No. Your Telegram account is your account. Open the bot and you can start immediately.
